Poupoune, thank you so much…I’m glad you like my calendar. It was really a bit scary putting it together, esp as I was doing it at my mum’s on her unfamiliar, old and slow computer. Oh, and I never ever said was rain was dull!!! ;)
Thank you CJ. I wouldn’t have thought of it as refreshing…just grabbed some shots that followed a theme and of course I love drops of water, reflections refractions and macro…so put all these together and, well, a themed calendar emerges. Oh and thank you for your comment about your favourite month….I had to go and see what it was. lol! And have a guess what, I think it was my first ever raindrop shot!!! (before I thought I knew what I was doing!)
Oh thank you Julie…this was a bit scary as it was all new for me. And, as I think I’ve replied to someone else, I did it on my mum’s unfamiliar computer, which is oldish, even though it now has xp on it, slow and images kept swapping around or changing without any prompting whatsoever….! So, by the time I’d finished, I wasn’t really very sure what the finished product actually was!
You make me feel so much better now. I wasn’t really very happy with this, or more that I wasn’t sure I’d selected well; partly as the actual process of choosing shots for each month became tricky with the computer I was using. Nothing against it, but I was just unfamiliar with it and images kept changing or swapping the second I blinked…. So, your positive, glowing and affirming comment is such a relief and so lovely.
Hi Marion. I actually think it is you I credit with prompting me to put a calendar together…did you suggest it or say you hoped I would?
I’m so pleased you like it though, and hadn’t realised the ‘theme’ was at all unusual or different. I was merely looking for some shots on a similar theme which I thought could sort of hang together. There were heaps I rejected though, so had to widen the category to include plain water.
Hi Bev…thank you so much for leaving a comment for me. I always value the wonderful thoughtful comments you leave me. And this one is no exception. I’m rapt that you like it…I wasn’t altogether happy by the time I finished it late the other night at my mum’s, as her computer was very touchy or sensitive or something and images kept swapping or changing on me. This took me forever to actually catch all the images on the one theme and keep them!!! Oh, and enormous bear sized thanks for the wonderful wow!
Hi Sharon. So pleased you like the pics…but I have just one doubt, a huge looming fear….I didn’t put the wrong date on it did I? I thought the calendars were for next year and that we were getting them ready for buying/giving as Christmas presents.
I hope I haven’t go totally mixed up!>>bites nails<<
THank you Amarica. I’m so glad you like it. It was great fun putting it together and so very rewarding to see the result. I’ve ordered some as Christmas presents and can’t wait to see what they look like.
