Living Faith ~ Exeter Cathedral

Living Faith ~ Exeter Cathedral

Exeter Cathedral, England, UK.

This was the only one of many cathedrals we visited which appeared very much alive and evidently faith filled.
As further evidence of this, at regular set intervals during the day one of the clergy stood in the pulpit, asked everyone to stop and stand in silence while he prayed in this, the house of God. It only took less than a minute, but sent a clear message to all there beholding this beautiful place.

Oh what a magnificent structure … terrific shot Jan :)

THanks CJ…one absolutely amazing building…faith filled and very much alive. You would absoultey adore the artworks which hung in stunning banners, (as seen), filled every nook and cranny, corner and wall, and even included a life size paper mache last supper sculpture behind the altar…High School students studied the work and with someone from the cathedral learnt all about it and then using each other as models, re-created Da Vicni’s famous painting…I’ll try and post a shot of that, just so you can see it.
Thank you for your comment and I’m thrilled that you like it.
