a study in concentration
head bowed
eyes lowered
mind focussed
concentrating
counting
waiting
his turn
feeling the pealing
of bells ringing
resounding
proclaiming
the joy of the Lord!
Ringing in the belltower of St John’s Anglican Church, Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia, a team of visiting English bellringers displayed their years of training, ringing and expertise not only to the local bellringers, but to the whole city.

Nice one Jan – reckon this’d look good in B & W too with just the ropes coloured. My first thought was someone climbing the ropes at a gym, then I read your description!

haha!! Yes, now that you say that and I look again at the shot, I can see what you saw…more in the realm of the normal that the esoteric and unusual world of bellringing ~ a small club to be sure! I agree with you about the B&W treatment, but I don’t know how to do the coloured ropes trick…not sure if Elements 4 has that capability. Maybe I should look into it??..xxxx
