looking
into the depths
meditating
and all I see is
the surface
terminating
frustrating
where reflections shimmer
and refractions shine
there should be depths to plumb
the essence of time
to ponder
to wonder
explore and expound
instead
there’s reflections
simply beauty
all around

Hello there my friend!! Thank you so much for your generous and kind words. Composition is a bit instinctive in all of us, I think…but I was guided in this one by the wonderful reflections…wanted them front and centre.
As to consistency, well I’m not quite as seamless and amazing as you seem to credit..Like all members of our RB community, I try to stick to the ‘upload only your best work’ rule. You see only my best. All the duds and disasters are either deleted or never see the light of the bubble!!!
