    Lovely … but I was hoping for the recipe too lol
    my mum does marmalade – it’s always so tarty & bitter
    If only there was a slightly sweeter or less “GNAA!!” recipe to try …. {sigh!}

    Great art but & great poetry = Great ekphrasis! lol
    Chookas! X♥X

    Hi Alyssa,
    So sorry its taken me so long to reply to your comment…life’s just been a bit busy over the past 5 or 6 days, between my husband flying to London, (eventually when the airbus managed to be properly fuelled and then was eventually towed to the terminal in Heathrow airport!!!), guests coming to stay after he’d left, hosting a lunch the following day, oh and the usual plus work!!...and the server being down…but I’ll put the violins away now and thank you for your lovely words of encouragement. Unfortuantely I don’t have the recipe…have never made marmalade in my life, although our son and new daughter-in-law did for Christmas.
    I am absolutely rapt that you like my poetry, as well as the work…absolutely the height of accoaldes and praise coming as it does from one so expert, gifted and ultimate in my estimation!!..xxxxOOoOo

    I was on here earlier and I forgot to leave a comment….I love the simplicity of this….it would make a marvelous framed print for a kitchen I would think….well done!

    Hi! Thanks for not only stopping by, but returning to leave a comment…now that’s HUGE!!! and such a compliment that my thanks is double if not tripled or quadrupled!!!! I love your idea of it hanging in a kitchen!! Yes, now that you mention it I can see it too!
    It was one of those unexpected shots that was birthed in experimentation and fun, mucking around and a spur of the moment thought.

    It looks so very delicious.
    The most mundane subjects can become objects of great beauty with just a little imagination and the eye to see the potential.
