Wonderful pic& words. Glorious combo
Jan Stead JEMp... replied
Oh thank you Kaz for your kind words. I’m so glad you like them. I’ve had this shot sitting in my photos folder on my computer for some time now, (post photoshopping it to boost dpi), but wasn’t really sure it was good enough to post.
But I decided to give it a go anyway ~ after I hit on a title I felt fitted.
I’m glad you like it.

Glad u posted it and thought of this title

You’re welcome…thank you for the encouragement, support and affirmation that I did the right thing…takes guts sometimes! ; )

I just love all the little tiny reflections in the droplets!!!! ;-)
Jan Stead JEMp... replied
Thank you Julie. So did I when I watched them appear before my eyes on the computer screen, for I could not see them with the naked eye, or even through the screen on the camera when I took the shot.
I am rapidly becoming a major fan of raindrop photography!!!
So pleased you like it and love you comments too.

Jan this is excellent – I just love this type of image with the perfect droplets reflecting other images, the crisp green contrasting with the droplets and I love the perfect poem and title to complete the work!
Jan Stead JEMp... replied
Hi Bev…WOW! What a compliment…and such a detailed and thorough critique/comment. I love it!!!
I agree with you about the droplets and reflections, none of which I could really see in their full glory when I took the photo of course; but I knew when I could look later then I would see what was initially hidden from my eyes.
Thank you also for your kind words about my writing.
As for the title, it just came to me, but unlike it’s usual meaning, this is neither full of false promises nor delusional.
I’m rapt that you like it.

need a tissue to wipe up those drops, hehe great capture jan :) k
Jan Stead JEMp... replied
hehe!! I can just see you out there wiping away heaven’s tears!!!
But seriously, I thought you would be all for letting them fall to the ground to soak in and water the plants, than see them soaked up on tissue and thrown away!!!
But then I’m getting a tad too serious today….
It’s raining nice and steadily today, so I hope you’re getting it too.
Thank you for your lovely comment and praise.

Deanna Roberts...
Gorgeous. Love those reflections. Well captured!
Jan Stead JEMp... replied
Deanna, yet more affirmation and encouragement!
Thank you so much for your words and support. I am blessed that I can bring pleasure to others through my photographic attempts.
So pleased you enjoyed this one.

Lovely macro Jan! Well caught!
Jan Stead JEMp... replied
Thank you Di. You have to ‘catch’ raindrops, don’t you? They’re there for but a moment!

oh, gorgeous, sweet Jan!!! :)))
fabulous work – i wonder if “a raindrop/dew” group already exists… It would be featured there!!! :)))

Jan Stead JEMp... replied
oh thank you for the massive compliment sweet Nat! There is actually a raindrops group, but the photos there are simply mindblowing…heaps better than this. I have great fun racing around seraching for the perfect raindrops and doing my utmost to capture them before they drop…the challenge is in catching the moment, which is gone all too quickly.
I’m absolutely rapt that you like it so much.

Great macro photo! Just beautiful!
Jan Stead JEMp... replied
THank you Stephen. I’m so glad you like it and that you stopped by. I think my greatest passion in photography is macro, with a close second, largely a new found love, being macro raindrops.
It’s heaps of fun and can be so rewarding when worlds you hadn’t seen appear through the eye of the camera.
