Hi Hilary. Thank you for your generous comments. I couldn’t resist ~ yet again ~ as the image itself in so may ways was captivating.
I’m not totally satisfied with the story, as it doesn’t quite scan.

    Hi Julie,
Thank you for your great comments. I really appreciate your support and affirmation tremendously.

I thought very carefully before I uploaded this, as I wasn’t sure if I was breaking copyright…think I at least need to add the source and © details to the description. The reason being I totally cheated!
If you watched the closing ceremony of the Bejing Olympic Games last Sunday you would have seen these two men in various poses as Greek athletes, or statues of them, atop a very high moveable pillar type of structure.

In other words, I took a photo of our TV, and the coverage of the closing ceremony!!!

See what a cheat I am?

(Well, ,I have been trapped inside and starved of photographic opportunities!)

Wish I had been involved in getting them ready tho!! hehe!

wow… thought it was statues but it’s real dancers!!!!
    Stunning!!!!

  • Jan Stead JEMp... replied

yes!!! Aren’t they amazing? They just transfixed me and blew me away, all at the same time. So I had to take a photo, just so I would have them to look at later.

They were dancers posing as statues, so I’m sure they would be smiling if they could read your words.

This looks great Jan!!! Do you think we could hire a couple of local blokes to pose for us in person all whited out?? LOL!! Would be great fun!!

    hehehe!!!
YOu gave me a great laugh on a Friday evening. What a gift that is!!!
    I like your idea though : )
Do you know where we could find a couple of willing, brave (considering its winter, of course) guys?
I nominate you to paint them…I’ll sit back and rofl, oh and then we can both take photos, if we can stop laughing long enough!!!

Thank you for your wonderful comment and hilarious suggestion.
