That was what occurred to me too, and the words which came to me as I was thinking of a title!
The other possibility involved gold too….”Golden Pond”...but as that movie was rather U.S. focussed many years ago, I decided to go with my first thought and impression.

Thank you Ann. I’m pleased you like it…I did, which led me to try to capture it. I’d never taken a shot like this before, so I grabbed a couple with different settings.
This was the better one I think. And I’m rapt that the tranquility of that moment comes across.

Wow, this is an exceptional comment!!! You simply blow me away with your amazing appreciation of and words on this shot.

It was such an amazing sight, hidden behind my back initially, that when I turned around and saw it, I simply had to have a go at shooting it!!!

So I was really quite amazed how well it turned out, alathough the subject itself is the star. I’m just pleased that what I saw and felt there has translated to the camera and, it seems, to your computer screen!
