I really like this idea! I mean, I like the t-shirt concept ;) The idea that we still won’t have learnt our lessons in 250 years time scares me a bit. But it wouldn’t surprise me.

You are. I think you’re allowed a bit of creative license though. It’s quite possible that we we’re all on the path to enlightenment, we had nearly overcome poverty, homelessness, food shortages etc and then something went terribly wrong!

I have to object to all the optimists’ criticising your messages- I love this and I think it’s spot on, plus there’s a black humour here that a lot of people may not get.
Honestly, how can you possibly believe we’re not heading for some rough times when you watch whats going on around you? The facts are too hard to ignore, but that’s just what everyone is gleefully doing. I say right on Lisa for suggesting the truth! I call that provocative alright.

you might think its a depressing future… but what your really doing is educating…all that stuff is heavy and bit sad BUT with eductaion we can maybe evolve a bit and work on all these issues :D in other words you rock!

oh its funny when you read they can teleport atoms, slow down light and have invented a ring of invisibility (well can hide like a 10th of a hair width) and we still use small explosions for nearly everything… (the combustion engine etc) :D
next maybe we can sort out the whole clean air / food / sustainable energy thingy

lol yeah… the problem is that we attack all these problems (or hold them up) due to money… say some poor farmer needs a roof… you have a carpenter and a dude with bulk wood and all these skilled labourers sitting around going… poor old farmer brown hes got no roof pity we cant help… if we keep treating all of earths problems with capitalism we are f**ked |:D We almost need to work out capitalism before we can help ourselves… first everyone should have a roof over there heads and food… and maybe i dunno a real democracy… update out operating system past version 0.1 :D

You stay cool and don’t get too down on it, humans on a good day can do anything ;P
