where the lonely go to rest
This image was taken for the 100 Steps Challenge over in the Melbourne and Victoria Group. It was taken on a vintage Kodak Instamatic Camera on 126 film. This was the first roll of film I have put through it, but I think I am really happy with the soft effect that the camera has.
Enjoy.

This is lovely. I must get in on this old camera biz. I used to have one of those and I don’t remember the pics looking like this (but maybe we just accepted it or didn’t know any better or something)

the wall, the chairs, the modern glass bricks .. all beautiful and you captured that essence in it so well x
jemimalovesbigted replied
thanks Nic, but I can only take half the credit. The rest of the magic was performed by the old camera and film =D
Holly Ringland
i love this so much and i can’t articulate why… you’ve left the gushing word nerd speechless :) seriously, i just want to curl up here and watch the world make moving pictures in front of me as it rolls on by. throw in a vanilla coffee and a notebook with a few blank pages left and i reckon, this would just about be utopia. sigh :)
jemimalovesbigted replied
Thanks so much Holly. I am so glad you love it, this is one of my favourites of recent analogue camera captures. There is something so dreamy about old cameras and film, that really help to paint a mood.
