Jindabyne

This was taken a few weeks back on a trip with my partner Ruben, his mum and our son to visit Rubens brother in the Snowy Mountains… Had my Holga on hand, totally had the wrong speed film inside unfortunately because all the snow shots were blown way out… This is one of the few that turned out okay… I like how serene it is…. I mean, hows the serenity really =D

Freaky effect but really mesmerising- I like it! It sort of forces you to really look into the picture, that sounds so deep doesn’t it? Hope you know what I mean.

  • jemimalovesbigted replied

I think I do, the vignetting around the edges really draws the eye into the scene… I always find that wide angle shots on a Holga look toy like too. Very cool little tools they are =D

that is the way of the Holga… beyond my control really… but I love the anticipation of when I put a roll of film in to be developed.
