Help needed with scanning and uploading pictures

Hi there everyone, I seem to have trouble with the scanning and uploading of pictures, can anyone give me some easy advice on this? Also, I haven’t looked around REDBUBBLE for ages so I am really sorry that I haven’t answered questions and added comments in a while. If anyone wants to contact me please email me at: headed@switchbladekittens.com

why do they have to be scanned?
why can’t they just be photographed and downloaded/easy for all!

Do I just take a digital photo and then put it in photoshop or something like that?

    How big is the artwork?
personally i prefer scanning all my works for better and higher resolution, but if its like a huge painting, i guess easier way would be photograph, but this would cause problem with lighting too, if you use flash, it might reflected on the artwork.
What are you having trouble with?

They’re A4 or smaller in size. But none of them seem to be high enough in resolution for selling as wall art etc on redbubble, perhaps something to do with the size or shape, or perhaps the program the scanner is connected to I’m not sure and a little baffled by it all. Hey thanks for being interested!

You should be able to get pretty big resolution from A4, some of my artwork are no bigger than A5 and I scanned them in up to 400 dpi. did you set your dpi?
Im sure shape has got nothing to do with it.
