Burning

Burning
I lay here,
Toss and turn,
I can’t get to sleep.
What’s wrong with me?
I have no troubles,
No worries,
There’s something on my mind,
But what?
Why me?.
I tried to struggle with my thoughts,
But I can’t see their face,
I can’t see,
I float into despair into grief;
To worries to life.
I’m back as a dreamer,
On a cloud with someone I can’t see their face,
I can’t see I float into water,
Into bed,
Wake up,
I see myself walking around in the air,
Opening the door into burning light,
I see myself walk through it,
I scream “No” but I’m not heard,
I shut my eyes and scream wake up in my bed,
And hear silence.
