One Last Soul to Fall
The stars twinkle at night
The sun shines in the day
Your here on earth for a short time
Then the gentle winds whisk you away
The silence of the night
Your lost soul never to be found
The memory of you
Only lays heavy on my mind
The days are shorter
The beauty of it all
For I am here like a feather
One last soul to fall.
This was a poem I had written and had published in the Perchment, Quill and Verse. The poetry Guild, back in 1998
