Alice and the Cheshire Cat, or A Very Merry Halloween in Wonderland by

An illustration depicting the ambiguously snarky Cheshire Cat. Intended to coincide with the events of Chapter Six in Lewis Carroll’s, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” – though in it’s composition the temptation to incorporate Jack-O-Lanterns proved too powerful, and so the scene has acquired somewhat of a Halloweenish quality.

Illustration © 2010 by J.E.Larson

J.E.Larson was born during the spring of the great Tea Cosy Revolution. He is believed to have been raised in the scriptorium of a didactic monastery before touring the moors of Humbug near the coast of Hopping Frog with a traveling caravan of gypsies. He now illustrates for several publications through automated dispatch from a tower in Claggum Hall.
