As I get older, I find myself holding onto the outwardly appearance of “little” things, that bring me an enormous amount of comfort, and touch my heart in such a way that carries me through difficult moments I otherwise would lose hope.
The way my grand daughter screams with delight & silliness when I walk through the door, A smile from someone in passing, listening to people enjoying good conversation, a laugh, the touch of my dog’s nose, and the way the cat snuggles against my face, hugs from my son, and the sound of my daughter’s voices and more; how it does indeed preserve the good in my life.

“The old woman I shall become will be quite different from the woman I am now. Another I is beginning…” [Rev Teri Johnson]
