The Graflex 4 X 5 view camera was the top news camera from the 30’s through the 50’s.Then the 35mm camera was born and the poor Graflex was only used by the folks that still loved the 4×5 format. Those of us that are still in love with black and white and large format this camera was/is easy to use and you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out, unlike the modern cameras of today. If you use camera such as this you get to process your negative’s and then ether print them using photo paper(yes photo paper) or scan them and then play with them in the digital world. Ether way it is a joy to be able to use the old stuff and learn what is now becoming a lost art.

Howdy how are ya,really glad to hear it. I record moments in time for a living while working in a camera store to pay the bills. While I sell the newest and greatest gizmos, I would prefer to be out recording images to grace walls around the world. Like what you see make it yours and give it a good home.

What a fabulous rig! And a nicely set up image too, the old newspaper is a brilliant inclusion and so appropriate. The flash is wonderful, it looks a lot like the ones Weegee used to use. Love to see it added to the Camera Porn Group.
Cheers,
Brett
