Residual Glow, Intermittent Noise - Abstract Acrylic Canvas Painting by

Abstract acrylic painting on stretched canvas featuring a lot of bright psychedelic colors, and geometric patterns and forms. The story of this painting is that it was originally created in 2006 and titled “Glitter Glutton.” 4 years later, I decided to make some changes to the painting, and I went back and added more. This is the result. I gave it a new title in 2010, “Residual Glow, Intermittent Noise.” I don’t do this very often with my work, though occasionally I’ll decide to go back and add more to something which was “finished” at an earlier point.

This canvas was painted using Liquitex Heavy Body professional paints on a 12″ × 12″ stretched canvas. The edges of the painting are gallery wrapped and the painting continues onto the sides of the frame, but this is not visible in prints/reproductions, only on the original framed canvas. If that’s something you’re into, you can buy my original paintings now. Check out JeffJag’s Etsy Store
