Birth of the Circle - Abstract Acrylic Canvas Painting by

Abstract acrylic painting featuring a lot of bright psychedelic colors, and repeating geometric patterns and forms. Visually, this painting tells the tall tale of how the circle was born from the other shapes. Line bent and wiggled until it became Triangle, Square, and Pentagon. In a moment of inspiration, Hexagon emerged and shortly after, birthed the Circle.

It was painted using Liquitex Heavy Body professional paints on a 12″ × 16″ stretched canvas.

This image is a one of a kind, experimental abstract painting created in March of 2010.

I’m a Denver, Colorado artist specializing in vibrant, fluid, psychedelic abstract paintings and illustrations in a variety of media. I work in pen, pencil, watercolor, acrylic, photography, and digital painting.
