Abstract watercolor painting in blues and some purple featuring prominent circles, swirls, and noise patterns. The title and imagery was inspired by the Large hadron collider at CERN. I’m fascinated by the discoveries and progress of modern science in many areas, but specifically sub-atomic particle physics. This image represents what I imagine might be going on at those tiny scales based on images showing the collision of particles.
It was painted using Dr. PH. Martin’s Concentrated Water Colors on Arches Hot Press 120lb water color paper. The original painting measures 14″ × 20″ and was captured professionally under calibrated studio lighting. It was shot in RAW format and color corrected to match the quality and fidelity of the original.
