Anolis Carolinensis, getting plenty of shade, while on the lookout for a meal. Insectavore eating many different kinds of insects. Beneficial to gardens. Fun to watch in a habitat. Cold temperatures in TN Smoky Mountains Habitat, doesn’t seem to bother these tropical lizards…native anole to the USA and tropics, west to TX and Oklahoma. The lizards come out and warm on sunny Winter days.
