Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in the Cades Cove area. These gorgeous horses are at the entrance of Cades Cove Loop motor drive, grazing in the fields, where you will also see some of the most gorgeous views over the 12 to 15 miles drive. Lots of destinations, hikes, some to waterfalls, cabins of the early settlers. They have hay rides, horse and bugy rides, and horseback riding on trail……family ties to the cove, see other entries, Leon Gourley, Missionary Baptist Church, History of My life and building our home in the Great Smoky Mouuntains. Leon Gourley was my Father in law, and he was born in Cades Cove, to Myrtle Gregory and James Gourley….Olivers were our 4th Great Grandparents.
