All the plantings in the garden accidentially created a habitat for the Smoky Mountain lizards. Especially, the Anolis Carolinensis, the only native green anole to the USA. On the map for these lizards, it looks like where I live, The green Anole, Carolinensis might not be any farther north, but they are seen mostly in the south east, but as far as Oklahoma and Texas. They Also inhibit Tropical and Sub Tropical America. I am glad to have these lizards in the garden. Plantings, rocks and watergardens brought the lizards.
I would like some of the documentations to be published by the National Park Service Headquarters to help the GSMNP. Gourley, 312 W. Millers Cove Road, Walland, Tn
