private Gourley Garden (Anole Habitat) Smoky Mountains, connected to the Foothills Parkway. My home in TN. These lizards are native to the USA, named after the Carolinas…Anolis Carolinensis is the proper name for these. The only green Anole that is native to USA. Same tropical lizards seen in the tropics. Glad to have them. There are other kinds of green anole. I like studying these and learning more all the time. Observe every day, and making it more lizard friendly all the time at Gourley Garden in the Smokies.
