7 Rays of Light for the Seven Gifts from the Dove
As prophesied by *Isiah (Is 11:2), the spirit of God (the *Holy
Spirit) would bestow seven gifts on the *Messiah. These, symbolized by seven doves, lamps or flames, are Sapientia, “WISDOM”; Intellectus, “UNDERSTANDING”; Consilium, “COUNSEL”; Fortitudo," MIGHT"
Scientia, “KNOWLEDGE” ; Pietas, “PIETY” ; and Timor Domini, “FEAR OF GOD”.
7 The most frequent of the symbolic *numbers. As a combination of *four (the earth) and *three (the heavens or the *Trinity), it symbolizes the universe. Groups of seven, too numerous to detail, were discovered everywhere. Some examples are:
7 days of *Creation;
7 planets;
7 seas;
7 kine and the seven ears of corn of *Pharaoh’s dreams;
7 *Sacraments;
7 *GIFTS of the Holy Ghost;
7 last *Words from the Cross;
7 penitential *psalms;
7 cardinal *Virtues;
*Seven Deadly Sins;
7 *Works of Mercy;
7 *Joys of St. Mary the Virgin;
7 *Sorrows of St Mary the Virgin.

There is so much on the Dove, and the Gifts. I have researched a lot of information and put together a book on it. Some info from a very large ancient dictionary, as large as an Old Holy Bible I bought.

Wonderful spiritual creation love the accompanying text so very interesting.
The dove is probably the olded and best image used to represent the Holy Ghost. The Christian World believes this image to be the Spirit of God, (Holy Spirit). Text from Hidden Wisdom of the Holy Bible, Old Dictionaries. Studied pastors books. Experienced Mysteries of the Bible, not many relate to that, or talk about it that I know of, I haven’t. Although I though I needed to write with each painting what I remember, or something about it. But that is one reason I studied and painted so many religious paintings. I am doing some other things again though

There is so much information on the Dove, I enjoyed studying and making a booklet about it. Experiences led me to do the works, and a desire to help others. Touching up some of my older paintings and framing some. I need to write some too about the paintings.
