Excelent shot Jeff, This was Monday, wasn’t it?, I was working, would have loved to have been there, nice shot mate..And great backdrop too.
Yes this was monday, it was extremely busy and I had to go to the other side of the river which as it turned out was a good move. I got some great shots with the Liver building in the background. Thanks for the great comments.

Jeff-great shot. I was on the other side of the water, I was gutted to see them so close to the Birkenhead side!
Thanks Roy I got the train into Liverpool first but after trying to get a decent spot for ages decided to get back on the train and go over to Seacombe which was also packed but with enough room to get a grandstand view.
Great shot Jeff, gonna have to take a trip to Liverpool and get some shots of that Liver Building.
Thanks Mark A trip to Liverpool is a must as there is so much going on at the moment.Not only that but there are so many photo opportunities anyway due to the amazing architecture etc. It is also worthwhile getting across to the other side of the river where some of my favorite shots have been taken. This one I think has it all in one picture – The old architecture the old ships but also the new growth and redevolpment.
