The Union Street Public House is in Old Town Alexandria Virginia. We used to walk to it and even though we have to drive now, it is still one of our favorite spots. Unfortunately, they don’t still have the Heavy Seas – Loose Cannon (Hop3 Ale) on tap. It is still a great place with a wonderful old bar, gaslights and a cool stamped tin ceiling.

Wow, I can’t believe this is Virginia.it looks quite English I love the windows!

  • Old Town is very Colonial (and therefore English.) There are still some cobblestone streets, brick sidewalks, boot scrapes and gaslights scattered around. I think the reason my wife and I like this pub so much is that it reminds us of some pubs we loved in England. Cheers, and thanks for the comments and features Jamie.
