You know, I actually read the mother’s expression as rather apprehensive – she looks wide-eyed and fearful, like a desperate single mum! Only one kitten? -guess that makes you lucky!

Thanks a lot guys for your comments, I really appreciate it. As the cats were strays I couldn’t really tame them, just fed them and play with them until the kitten grew older and the mom moved it away :(
Hope they will come back like the last ones.

A stray gave birth outside and then moved everyone into my laundry – loved those little kittens! This is such a great shot and reminded me of my stray.

I’m sorry she’s gone again, a lovely cat, and glad she chose your home to have her kittens, you can see the “feral” in her expression, very well captured!
