Today I felt like doing a project so I took a cup and saucer and just played with it in different settings until I found a composition that I liked.

Taken on a Canon 7D and shot in RAW
1/250th at f6.3 and ISO250 (I forgot to change my setting back to ISO100). I used some fill in Flash and I had 200mm lens

Then I just adjusted the colors and sharpness a little in PS

  • Thank you so much Sunny, I have this book by JIm Krause which talks about taking anything, even just an object like a light globe and photographing it so that it looks interesting and practicing composition and taking the time to look and critique your own pics. I just go “nice” or nah boring……….IT is a fun thing to do at the moment. So thank you for your comment and you also have a great New YEar and a fantastic 2012.
