An old lock taken at Old Gippstown on my Canon EOS, therer were just so many great things to take photos of….This lock was just awesome, it is an old door and you start thinking aout the people that might have used this door in the past and to where they were heading when they walked through the door.

Camera Canon EOS 7d
1/13th (with tripod)
ISO 250
85mm lens
f11 (tried to retain some DOF for the detail int he wood) Shot in RAW

It was a fun day photographing.
You can let your imagination go wild.

Great capture! I bet The Fine Art of Peeling Paint would love this added to the group!

  • I actually took this as the lighting really gave the lock some form, with the shadows.

  • Well in answer to your thoughts……there was not much there……..but it wasa great old building with lots of opportunities to take interesting pics…..
