This lovely cabin sits across the pond from my good friend Laura’s house in Madisonville, Kentucky (USA). This was taken from her back yard.

I love capturing “life” with light… I have a deep respect for those things that have weathered time and still remain if only to tell a story.

what we hoped Madison Kentucky would look like…

  • Madison is a great little Kentucky town. My good friend, Laura, lives there and this is the view from her back door. Are you planning a trip there?

we are planning a road trip and would love to include Kentucky. We love mom and pop shops, the older the better. Any “authentic” areas left? This shot makes us this there might be ;o)

  • Rabbit Hash, Kentucky is THE most authentic place around. It has a general store that was built in 1831 and is still in operation today. We have barn dances in the summer and art festivals (Aug 7 & 8), Old Timers Day (Labor day weekend) and tons more. Go to their website:http://www.rabbithash.com to find out more. (I am the webmaster.) We live a half mile down the road from the store and most of my photos are of Rabbit Hash. This one in particular is not, but almost all of the other ones are… We moved here from Los Angeles 5 years ago and I’m still in love with the place.
