“Black Beauties” This small herd seemed to come out of nowhere yesterday as I was walking toward them they just froze where they were at when they saw me slowly cautiously coming towards them. I have to admit it was a bit intimidating facing this powerful looking herd, who did not take their eyes off of me as I clicked away taking photos of their awesome beauty and powerful stance. It was breathtaking to see them, I hope they stay in this area of Northeastern Nevada’s high desert country.
Hi Sue, I am so glad you like this one, they are different herd in the area , it was really great to see them and be able to get the photographs , very exciting to get so close !
Ohhhhh Jeanne….this is beautifully captured!!! They are so alert….watching you I’m sure!!! That stare is intense!!!
Hi Ruth , thank you so much it was pretty intense for a few minutes there, but soon they went galloping off into the forest. I hope to photograph them again soon!
