The Antelope wild horse herd roundup is over. It was called off three days early. All they had left to roundup up I guess were pregnant mares. The number of wild horses on 1.3 million acres were no where near what they thought they were. I am overjoyed that they have stopped for now anyway, it is a small miracle but a step in the right direction.
This photo was taken in the Antelope Valley far from the trap chutes, these are some of the lucky ones that got away and can now live out their lives in freedom! Just look at all that land!
