Awesome shot but there is something seriously amiss about how he is blowing this!! His lips aren’t on the mouthpiece (or at least his top lip)!!! Sorry I am a trumpet player… I notice these things!! :) LOVE the shot though. I assume that that is a flugle horn. Def not a trumpet.

  • Lol, you are right :)) It’s not a trumpet, it’s a flugle horn (I copied the tags from another photo). This shot was taken backstage during the preparation of the concert, but I have no idea what he was trying to do at that moment with his instrument :))))))

My first thought is Flugle Horn, But maybe it’s the angle. Such an intense face. I can imagine the sound!

  • While copying the tags I forgott to change the instrument, sorry :)) Sure it is a flugle horn! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment my friend!

Yes, it’s a flugle alright. I think he missed his lip, but a great shot all the same. Love the angle Jean.

  • :-) Thanks so much Denis!

Sometimes, to keep the instrument warm before going on stage, you can blow air through it in the fashion that he is doing in the shot. Perhaps it was just keeping the instrument warmed up! Like I said though, great shot!

  • :-) Thanks a lot Mark!

Cool shot – but far away from being a street like candid scene ;)

  • Did I post it in the street candid group?? Ups, sorry! :-) Glad you like it nevertheless!
