A long exposure image looking across a rapidly rising Loch Duich towards Eilean Donan Castle on a quiet March Morning, in the Scottish Highlands. I was running out of “beach” and then the tide hid my three rocks in the foreground there, ending playtime, meaning it was time to go home and warm up with coffee and breakfast. Only had to sit through one hail/snow squall that morning :)

Canon EOS 30D, Efs 10-22 lens @10mm, CP, graduated filter, 10-stop filter, tripod mounted. 5mins 30secs exposure @ F/11 ISO 100

Photography is my passion. I get a great deal of pleasure from this wonderful hobby. When the light and the composition come together at the same time, it’s as good as winning the lottery!
