Lindisfarne Castle, on Holy Island, in Northumbria, England.
My friends and I have just returned from a super weekend staying in Seahouses, perfectly located for getting to so many wonderful places.
I set off from Blackpool at stoooopid o’clock on Friday morning to be at the causeway for 7am (which is when the website said it was safe to cross the causeway)..and there was still water on the causeway. So,like a woos I waited till an Islander came across and I knew it was safe to drive over, and legged it like a woman demented, with the Rug ahead of me, in order to catch the early morning light down at the castle once I parked up at the village.
Canon EOS 30D, Efs 10-22 lens, CP, graduated filters, ND filter, Tripod mounted and cable release used. 50 Seconds @ F/16 ISO 100

Photography is my passion. I get a great deal of pleasure from this wonderful hobby. When the light and the composition come together at the same time, it’s as good as winning the lottery!

Thank you Sarah.. I left just after 3am and had to drive through the driving rain and the winds that were battering everybody. :)
