A view from inside the stone circle at Castlerigg across to Skiddaw when I took a trip up there the other weekend…the light was just wonderful. I wanted to try to get some reflections in the puddle..
I was entertained while standing here by a group of Japanese tourists who arrived, came to ask me what I was photographing, proceeded to take photos of the camera on the tripod and spent the rest of their visit there photographing Jura …hehe. Jura obliged of course and posed for them.. I should have told them to pay him in Bonios!

Photography is my passion. I get a great deal of pleasure from this wonderful hobby. When the light and the composition come together at the same time, it’s as good as winning the lottery!

Went for a walk up Blencathra behind the stone circle with Shaun, Jason and Rich. It was great but as soon as we got to the top the mist came rolling in.
sods law! bet the walk was good though. Not been up Blencathra but done Skiddaw many years ago – still remember my legs turning to jelly coming down the scree! :)
