Perch Rock Lighthouse, New Brighton on Saturday evening.
After starting the day at Talacre lighthouse and spending the middle of the day at Llyn Ogwen in Snowdonia , we finished the day at Perch Rock lighthouse. It was raining when we arrived but we were not to be put off, and our perseverance paid off by the day ending with some lovely light.
The title? Well it was a calm high tide – the waves were created by three ships that headed up the mouth of the Mersey leaving a super wash in their paths.
