I am an artist working in oils and pastels as well as photography. My subject matter is mainly portraiture and figures. I have been painting for many years and have won awards for my paintings including a first place award in the Pastel Journal Magazine’s Pastel 100 competition and first place in the Richeson 75 competition.
I am married with two grown children and reside in Scottsdale, AZ.

Wow! gorgeous. Tricky to get the lighting right. It would have been nice to be able to see the detail on the horse’s face a bit clearer, but the sillhouette is very effective
Yes, it’s difficult to capture a black horse with a person in white and the sun setting strongly behind them. I’m a better painter than I am a photographer :) Thanks for you kind words.
