This image is a composite of three images of the same stallion. He is a Friesian owned by Stefanie Maas of Cave Creek, AZ. I shot these with my Canon Rebel XT and the Canon 70-200 IS lens. I used the extract tool to remove the unattractive bg and replaced it with a texture layer. I then added more “dust” and textures.
blue, black, yellow, orange, horses, grunge, stallion, friesian, animal portrait, equine portrait

Are they Friesians?? one of my fav breeds as well as Andalusians
Hi Rebecca! Yes this is a Friesian stallion. It is a composite of 3 different images of the same stallion. I shot these with my canon rebel xt and the 70-200 IS lens while sitting of the ground in a paddock with him running free. He is a beautiful and gentle horse. His name is Leo and his owner is Stefanie Maas of Cave Creek, AZ., USA
I used PSCS3 extract filter to remove the bg and added layers of texture to create a mood that hopefully conveys the power and dramatic beauty of this breed. Thanks for your comments :)
