This is a pastel painting. It won first place in the Pastel Journal Magazine, Pastel 100 Competition in the figure/portrait category. Available as a greeting card in the “Missing You” category.
Painted in soft pastels on sanded pastel paper.
I am an artist working in oils and pastels as well as photography. My subject matter is mainly portraiture and figures. I have been painting for many years and have won awards for my paintings including a first place award in the Pastel Journal Magazine’s Pastel 100 competition and first place in the Richeson 75 competition.
I am married with two grown children and reside in Scottsdale, AZ.
