Bon Appetit II

Shot this with my Canon Rebel XT, 18-55 mm lens in natural light from a window. Cropped in closer than original version to give more focus to the dog and pie. Painted the photo with Corel Painter Essentials 4, thick paint, a selection of different brushes such as tapered camel, captured bistle. The model is my faithful sidekick, Skye. We adopter her from the local rescue shelter, the day after Christmas a few years ago. She has been faithfully at my side ever since! :)
Skye is a Jack Russell terrier female.

I have to tell you a secret, Noelene…..the pie was not real, lol. It was a scented faux pie :) But I did give her a banana….she absolutely loves fruit!

I have to tell you, she is the most well behave around food. It is truly amazing! If I have a piece of chicken on a plate on the coffee table and she knows I am not finished, she will sit and stare at it like this but never touch it no matter how long I am away!
