Gold and Scarlet

I wanted to create an image that had an old world feel to it. Reminiscent of the paintings by artists like Bouguereau and Jules Breton. The model is my daughter once again.

I think it would make a great painting if the top was filled in with greenery too, giving the whole image a cozy lush feeling. The bright sky I find a little disorienting, but it is a beautiful portrait! You daughter is a classic beauty!

Do I think it would make a good painting? yes! one suggestion to make it really special, accent the sunlight a little more and to balance the colours out add a little deeper cool tones to the skin. I especially LOVE the bougainvillea, the placement of the blooms is just perfect. Your daughter is gorgeous, makes me want to paint mine again lol
