This is the 1st image in what shall be a very large series of photos called “Autumn in Japan.”
I’ve wanted to visit Asia since I was a teenager, and in October of 2010, my wish finally came true. I spent about 10 days in Japan.
My fascination with Asian culture and traditions finally became a reality to me, and the photographer in me went into overdrive. In 10 days, I captured 2,500+ pictures. I hope you enjoy my first (but hopefully not my last) perspective of this beautiful & amazing country.
Ok, so I couldn’t figure out why all of the toilets had lines in front of them in the womens toilet at Narita airport, except for this one. I quickly discovered why when I entered this stall, and found this Japanese “squat” toilet. I took a picture of a toilet, however, and so I thought a texture and frame might beautify this image a bit. Captured with a Nikon D90.
B/W conversion and post-processing done in PSE 8, and textured frame added from ShadowHouse Creations.
