White Hot Red by Jen Waltmon

The F-111 was quite impressive. This is one of maybe 2 shots I was able to get of this aircraft. It was moving so fast across the sky, I had a hard time capturing it. Captured at the Royal Australian Air Force Airshow in Williamtown, NSW, Australia in September 2010.

Inversion & hues processed in PSE 8.

Featured in the “Lost in Space” Group, December 2010.

Photography to me isn’t just about capturing beauty or magic. It’s about capturing life as it is. Whether that’s ugly, dirty, beautiful, complicated, simple or slightly altered – it’s the perception of the person behind the camera. That’s what makes the art of photography so real and unique, and that’s why it’s a passion that drives me and leaves me wanting more.
