Church is out!
Bodie State Historic Park in California was mobbed when I was there. Visitors were everywhere and speaking many different languages. I recognized French, Italian, German and Japanese being spoken. The American West continues to fascinate people from many parts of the world. I thought this panorama caught the feeling of the day as some of the visitors left church on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Besides seeing the Park being well-used, I loved the rich patina the desrt sun “installs” on the wooden buildings.
