Tree Trestle
We do not have many days in the desert with low clouds and misty rain. When we do have days with this soft light, especially in the spring, the hues of the new foliage are particularly intense compared to our seared look during a great portion of the year. Some may think a scene like this does not exist in the Great Basin. They are not as numerous as in other locales and one has to be patient-then one has to go home and dry the camera because we never think to carry umbrellas here.
