Come on in and make yourself comfortable. My name is Jim.

I’ve always been an eclectic learner, interested in almost everything; from history to quantum physics, philosophy to minerology, I want to know what it is and how it works. My insatiable curiousity leads me from one discipline to another and keeps me exploring. Through it all, the one true constant has been creativity. I’ve dabbled in many different mediums and many different styles over the years. I have a BFA with a dual major in ceramics and oil painting. I’ve worked fairly extensively in printmaking and acrylics. I also love to do carpentry, woodworking and blacksmithing. My current passions are exploring digital art, photography and playing guitar. When I’m not doing those things, I write poetry and short stories and play other musical instruments. So you can see, I’m pretty much all over the place with what I do. And I love it that way!
