Crowd Control

James Godber

Crowd Control

Crowd control Chinese style, just a short distance from the Birds Nest Stadium in Beijing on the evening of the Opening Ceremony for the 29th Olympic Games. There were literally 1000s of military on every corner! It was a very humid evening and we felt very sorry for them all. They must have been baking in their uniforms!

Taken with Canon 40D, using 70-300 IS USM Lens at f4.6 and 170mm. ISO 800 and 1/4 second mounted on a tripod.

Crowd Control belongs to the following groups:

After Dark, Amazing Asia, Artists of the Orient, Candid Photography ( 1/24 ) , Canon DSLR (One Image Per Day & A Canon Camera Must Be In The Description Before It's Accepted), Everyday Life, Night Photography, Sports Photography and Street Photography and Photojournalism Available for sale as

stunning lighting – love how the sweat is focussed on

  • James Godber replied

Cheers. I’m pleased with this, but can’t decide if I should a) sharpen slightly and b) do something with the white balance. Anyway, I wanted to upload it quickly whilst it was topical!
