Jet Dana Bio

It all started even before I went to elementary school. There came this whirlwind, this small tornado that swept across the back yard and picked up my mother’s clothespin box, spilling it all over the place. It almost didn’t matter that no one else saw this event and that nobody believed my story. I had a profound sense, even back then, of the magical; the mystical; of a reality beyond the reality that everyone else believed in. I had witnessed something that no one else could even imagine. I shared my first secret with the universe.

I also knew even back then that I wanted to “write,” scribbling pages and pages of “stories” even before I knew the meaning of words.

As a youth, I felt very different from others; separate somehow; retreating to my room, going to sleep riding my magic flying carpet into the cosmos, living in the dream world of children’s literature . . . enchanted forests inhabited by mythical creatures. I ran from a harsh reality where I felt like a misfit, and retreated into metaphysical worlds.

As an adult, I continue to be fascinated by the forces that dominate this vast universe, and have been a serious lay student of the same for most of my adult life, studying world religions and philosophies first hand; and even with that, I can say I have a hard won and yet probably only cursory understanding of this infinite “universe” of information relating to the nature of reality.

I am no expert. I simply have a passion for information and trying to make sense out of issues that seem overwhelming and/ or contradictory. I collect information like other people collect seashells, sports memorabilia, recipes, etc. I don’t claim to have all the answers; but I am good at asking questions . . . good at stimulating thought. I am a conduit through which information flows; a reporter on matters touched by the Metaphysical . . . one of my favorite subjects . . .

I have worked in Communications most of my life; Telecommunications Management, Internet Management, Marketing and Advertising Management and Creative as well . . . writing copy for brochures, catalogs, and the Web. I have written as well as recorded radio commercials, done voiceovers, television commercials, been on various talk shows as part of the Charisma Clay marketing strategy, done studio recording, performed at various song and dance levels, and, in addition to artwork, continue to work on solo writing as well as associate writing projects – including music, articles for magazines and newspapers, treatments, stories, and books; as well as advertising and marketing copy.

My first book is on the market, published through PublishAmerica. It is an intriguing, inspirational story of a woman growing up with a special gift – while struggling against odds that would be considered enormous even under normal circumstances. It is a tale of struggle brightened with humor and laced with the small victories that inspire us on a daily basis to continue moving forward, no matter what, illustrated with metaphysical comic fantasy art.

I will also be returning to an educational venue within the next year. I plan to finish out my Batchelor’s in Business and then pursue a Master’s in Philosophy, hopefully in Ontology, which is the Science of Being. I want to devote the rest of my life to the study of Metaphysical Science and immerse myself in writing and illlustrating relating to this and associated topics.
